A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 59-24-55 so as to permit the Board of Trustees of a school district of this State to employ as the superintendent of the district a person who in its opinion is a person of outstanding experience with a distinguished work and academic record, and to provide that this person is not required to be certified as a school superintendent or have the requisite qualifications required by law for school superintendents in South Carolina.
