    A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 5-37-190 so as to provide for the Coastal Council to approve beach renourishment undertaken by a municipality; and to amend Section 5-37-20, as amended, relating to definitions used in the Municipal Improvement Act of 1973, so as to redefine "improvements", "improvement district", and "improvement plan"; Section 5-37-30, relating to authorization and funding of improvements, Section 5-37-50, relating to resolutions for improvement plans, and Section 5-37-70, relating to the payment of the costs of improvements, so as to include beach renourishment; and Section 5-37-90, relating to improvements as municipal property and special assessments, so as to exclude certain parts of a beach renourishment project.
