A Bill to amend Section 42-15-90, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to Workers' Compensation and the requirement that fees for attorneys and physicians and charges of hospitals for services under Title 42 are subject to the approval of the Workers' Compensation Commission, so as to delete certain provisions, including the criminal offense and penalties, to provide a procedure for obtaining fees or charges, and to establish a civil penalty which may be imposed upon attorneys, physicians, or hospitals who repeatedly and wilfully charge fees in excess of the Commission's guidelines.
