    A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT DURING THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR, LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS MAY WAIVE MAKEUP DAYS IN ADDITION TO THE THREE DAYS FORGIVEN PURSUANT TO SECTION 59-1-425 BY THE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR ANY DAYS MISSED DURING THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR BECAUSE OF SNOW, EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS, OR OTHER DISRUPTIONS REQUIRING SCHOOLS TO CLOSE; AND TO PROVIDE THE PROVISIONS OF THIS JOINT RESOLUTION APPLY NOTWITHSTANDING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 59-1-425 OR ANOTHER PROVISION OF LAW THAT REQUIRES SCHOOL DISTRICTS TO REQUEST A WAIVER FROM THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION. - ratified title
