    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 37-1-115 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT AS OF JULY 1, 2009, MERCHANTS AND OTHER PERSONS HONORING A CREDIT CARD FOR THE PURCHASE OR LEASE OF GOODS OR SERVICES MUST NOT INCLUDE THE CONSUMER'S CREDIT CARD NUMBER ON THE PRINTED RECEIPT PROVIDED TO THE CONSUMER.
