A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 39-41-275 so as to provide that the prices charged for petroleum products in this State of an entity engaged in the petroleum industry, which has a tanker or other conveyance that has an oil spill of one million gallons or more, may not be increased until the clean-up of the spill is completed, to provide penalties for violation, and to make these provisions retroactive to March 24, 1989.
