    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 41-10-45 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT IT IS A VIOLATION OF THE WAGE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS STATE FOR AN EMPLOYER TO PAY FEMALE EMPLOYEES LESS THAN MALE EMPLOYEES FOR COMPARABLE EMPLOYMENT IF THE FEMALE EMPLOYEES HAVE EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING; AND TO AMEND SECTION 41-10-80, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO CIVIL PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF CERTAIN WAGE AND HOURLY PROVISIONS SO AS TO REVISE SUCH PENALTIES AND INCLUDE SECTION 41-10-45 THEREIN.
