S 0448 General Bill, By Setzler and R.C. Shealy
    A Bill to amend Section 44-7-520, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to licensing of community residential care facilities, so as to change the reference to licensing in an area outside incorporated areas of a county to licensing in a municipality or county, to require written notification instead of notice of a facility's proposed location to the local governing body and the residents within one mile of the facility, to provide for a public hearing on the location, and to require approval of the location by the governing body.
