    A BILL TO PROVIDE A METHOD FOR FILLING VACANCIES ON THE BOARDS OF TRUSTEES OF LAURENS COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS 55 AND 56 AND PROVIDE THAT A SPECIAL ELECTION IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONDUCTED IF ONLY ONE CANDIDATE OFFERS FOR OFFICE TO EITHER ONE OF THESE TWO SCHOOL DISTRICTS WHEN A VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OCCURS AND THE TIME FOR FILING FOR THE OFFICE HAS CLOSED AND HE HAS BEEN CERTIFIED; AND TO REPEAL ACT 292 OF 1989, RELATING TO FILLING VACANCIES ON BOARDS OF TRUSTEES OF LAURENS COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS 55 AND 56.
