Summary: Sunday work prohibitions may be suspended in incorporated and unincorporated areas of municipalities under certain conditions
    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 53-1-160, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE SUSPENSION OF SUNDAY WORK PROHIBITIONS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT SUNDAY WORK PROHIBITIONS MAY BE SUSPENDED IN AN UNINCORPORATED AREA BY THE COUNTY GOVERNING BODY BY ORDINANCE AND IN AN INCORPORATED AREA BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF A MUNICIPALITY IN THOSE COUNTIES WHICH ARE NOT EXEMPT FROM THE PROHIBITION AND TO DELETE CERTAIN REFERENDUM PROVISIONS.
