A Concurrent Resolution requesting the Joint Operations and Management Committee to establish a program to orient newly elected members of the General Assembly about the operations of agencies of the State of South Carolina, to provide that the program shall supplement any orientation provided by the House or Senate about its internal operations, to provide that the members participating in the program are authorized per diem, mileage, and subsistence to be paid from the approved accounts of the House or Senate and to provide that the Joint Operations and Management Committee implement this orientation program for newly elected members in the 1990 general election and for every general election conducted after 1990.
