Summary: To make it unlawful for person to interfere with the transportation of students via school buses with intent to delay; provides for penalties
    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 16-17-515 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT IT IS UNLAWFUL FOR A PERSON TO INTERFERE WITH THE TRANSPORTATION OF STUDENTS BY SCHOOL BUS WITH THE INTENT TO DELIBERATELY DELAY OR IMPEDE THE PROCESS OF TRANSPORTING STUDENTS, TO PROVIDE FOR THE SUSPENSION OF THE DRIVER'S LICENSE OF A PERSON WHO VIOLATES THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION, TO PROVIDE THAT THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO AN ACCIDENT BETWEEN A SCHOOL BUS AND ANOTHER VEHICLE, AND TO PROVIDE A PENALTY.
