    AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE ELECTED POSITION OF SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION OF OCONEE COUNTY IS ABOLISHED AS OF JULY 1, 2009, AND ALL POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE SUPERINTENDENT ARE DEVOLVED UPON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF OCONEE COUNTY AND TO PROVIDE THAT IF A VACANCY OCCURS IN THAT OFFICE BEFORE JULY 1, 2009, THE OFFICE IS ABOLISHED AS OF THE DATE OF THE VACANCY; AND TO REPEAL SECTIONS 1, 4, AND 8 OF ACT 613 OF 1992, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE ELECTION, POWERS, AND DUTIES OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION OF OCONEE COUNTY. - ratified title
