    A Bill to amend Sections 52-7-20 and 52-7-310, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the State and County Athletic Commissions, so as to permit the Chairman of the State Athletic Commission to call additional meetings and to require that he call a meeting upon direction of a majority of the Commissioners, to require the appointing body of members to the County Athletic Commissions instead of the County Commission to file a record of appointees with the State Athletic Commission, to provide that the County Athletic Commission select its chairman and officers who shall receive per diem, mileage, and subsistence as authorized by the county, and to prohibit a person from serving on both the State and County Athletic Commissions; and to amend the 1976 Code by adding Sections 52-7-15 and 52-7-25 so as to require the State Athletic Commission to select a chairman and other officers and provide that the Chief of the State Athletic Commission may receive compensation as provided by the General Assembly.
