S 0584 General Bill, By T.E. Garrison
    A Bill to amend Act 509 of 1982, as amended, relating to the boards of trustees of the school districts of Anderson County, so as to provide that if there is less than six months left in the term of a member of the board of trustees, a vacancy must be filled by the County Board of Education and if there is six months or more left in the term, a special election must be called to fill the vacancy; to change the filing period for candidates for school board trustee; and to provide that any special election must be paid for by the district in which the election is held.
