A Joint Resolution to provide that the Department of Highways and Public Transportation must establish a project which employs the use of video camera recording equipment in motor vehicles used by the South Carolina Highway Patrol so as to test the use of video camera recording equipment when apprehending a motorist for the purposes of establishing probable cause for arrest and for use as evidence of impairment in any subsequent trial for a violation of Section 56-5-2930 and to provide that upon the conclusion of the project the Department must within sixty days notify the Senate Transportation Committee and the House Education and Public Works Committee of its findings, evaluations, and recommendations.
