Summary: Conditions on who may apply for an expungement
    A BILL TO AMEND ARTICLE 11, CHAPTER 21, TITLE 24 OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 24-21-1010, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A PERSON WHO HAS RECEIVED A PARDON FOR ANY CRIME EXCEPT CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT OR A CRIME OF VIOLENCE AS DEFINED IN SECTION 16-23-10(3), MAY APPLY, OR CAUSE SOMEONE ACTING ON THE PERSON'S BEHALF TO APPLY, TO THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR AN ORDER EXPUNGING THE RECORDS OF THE PERSON'S ARREST AND CONVICTION.
