    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 59-1-435 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT ANY PERSON CURRENTLY EMPLOYED AS A CLASSROOM TEACHER IN THIS STATE FOR GRADES K-12 SHALL REPORT TO THE PRINCIPAL OF THE SCHOOL THE TEACHER'S ARREST FOR ANY VIOLATIONS OF FEDERAL OR STATE CRIMINAL LAW EXCLUDING TRAFFIC OFFENSES, TO PROVIDE THAT THE PRINCIPAL IN TURN SHALL FORWARD THIS INFORMATION TO APPROPRIATE DISTRICT OFFICIALS, AND TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS.
