A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 20-7-420, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OF THE FAMILY COURT, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE COURT HAS JURISDICTION TO REVIEW THE GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION OF A CHILD IN A CUSTODY OR VISITATION MATTER, TO MAKE FINDINGS WHETHER THE LOCATION PROVIDES REASONABLE ACCESS FOR VISITATION BY THE NONCUSTODIAL PARENT, AND TO ORDER WHETHER THE CUSTODIAL PARENT MUST ASSIST WITH VISITATION ARRANGEMENTS AND WHETHER THE CUSTODIAL PARENT MUST PETITION THE COURT BEFORE CHANGING THE CHILD'S GEOGRAPHIC RESIDENCE.
