A Bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 2-19-25 so as to provide that when the appointment of a master-in-equity is submitted by the Governor to the General Assembly for its advice and consent, the qualifications of the master-in-equity must be reviewed by the Joint Legislative Screening Committee for Judicial Candidates in the same manner in which it reviews the qualifications of other judicial candidates.
