 A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION TO CONGRATULATE THE SILVER BLUFF HIGH SCHOOL "LADY
 DOGS'" TRACK AND FIELD TEAM OF AIKEN COUNTY ON WINNING THE 1997 CLASS AA STATE
 CHAMPIONSHIP.

TO CONGRATULATE THE SILVER BLUFF HIGH SCHOOL "LADY DOGS" TRACK AND FIELD TEAM OF AIKEN COUNTY ON WINNING THE 1997 CLASS AA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Whereas, the Silver Bluff High School "Lady Dogs" Track and Field Team of Aiken County captured the 1997 Class AA Track and Field title under the leadership of Coach Louise Dent; and

Whereas, the members of the team are Yshameka McKie, Tina Ellison, Celestine Williamson, and Freida Ellison; and

Whereas, the team members' talent, dedication, hard work, and unity combined to make them state champions; and

Whereas, the Silver Bluff High School "Lady Dogs" Track and Field Team and its coach have been and continue to be a true testimony to the talent and desire to achieve excellence and serve as an example of dedication and devotion for all citizens of South Carolina to follow. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina congratulate the Silver Bluff High School "Lady Dogs" Track and Field Team of Aiken County on winning the 1997 Class AA State Championship.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Coach Dent.
