A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, RELATING TO ADJUSTMENT OF DOLLAR AMOUNTS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 1775, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF PreviousARTICLENext 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Consumer Affairs, relating to Adjustment of Dollar Amounts, designated as Regulation Document Number 1775, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of PreviousArticle 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

SUMMARY AS SUBMITTED BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

The proposed amendment indicates the dollar amounts in the South Carolina Consumer Protection Code Sections which shall change by increasing 10% with the exception of Sections 37-2-203(2) and 37-3-203(2) which have a self-executing formula of 40%. These sections shall change as indicated on July 1, 1994 in accordance with Section 37-1-109.
