AN ACT AMEND SECTION 7-7-510, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976,
RELATING TO THE VOTING PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES IN UNION COUNTY, SO AS TO
CHANGE THE POLLING PLACES FOR PRECINCT NUMBERS THIRTEEN AND TWENTY-SIX.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Voting precincts in Union County
SECTION 1. Section 7-7-510 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 24 of 1985,
is further amended to read:
"Section 7-7-510. In Union County there are the following voting
precincts:
Precinct Number One, to be known as Ottaray, the polling place for which is the
Church Annex;
Precinct Number Two, to be known as Union Ward 1, Box 1, the polling place for
which is Foster Park School;
Precinct Number Three, to be known as Union Ward 1, Box 2, the polling place
for which is Truluck Gym;
Precinct Number Four, to be known as Union Ward 2, the polling place for which
is Sims Junior High School;
Precinct Number Five, to be known as Union Ward 3, the polling place for which
is the Housing Authority Office;
Precinct Number Six, to be known as Union Ward 4, Box 1, the polling place for
which is the Union County Courthouse;
Precinct Number Seven, to be known as Union Ward 4, Box 2, the polling place
for which is the Salvation Army Building;
Precinct Number Eight, to be known as Excelsior, the polling place for which
is the Excelsior School;
Precinct Number Nine, to be known as Bonham, the polling place for which is
John T. Belue's Store;
Precinct Number Ten, to be known as Monarch Box 1, the polling place for which
is the John A. Fant Masonic Lodge;
Precinct Number Eleven, to be known as Monarch Box 2, the polling place for
which is the Monarch Firehouse;
Precinct Number Twelve, to be known as Buffalo Box 1, the polling place for
which is the Buffalo Firehouse;
Precinct Number Thirteen, to be known as East Buffalo, the polling place for
which is New Buffalo Elementary School;
Precinct Number Fifteen, to be known as Putnam, the polling place for which is
Putnam Recreation Building;
Precinct Number Seventeen, to be known as Oakland, the polling place for which
is Lee's Store;
Precinct Number Eighteen, to be known as West Springs, the polling place for
which is the Community Center;
Precinct Number Nineteen, to be known as Cross Keys, the polling place for
which is Cross Keys Firehouse;
Precinct Number Twenty, to be known as Black Rock, the polling place for which
is the School House;
Precinct Number Twenty-one, to be known as Carlisle, the polling place for
which is Carlisle Town Hall;
Precinct Number Twenty-two, to be known as Santuck, the polling place for which
is Santuck Firehouse;
Precinct Number Twenty-three, to be known as Meadows, the polling place for
which is Eubanks' Store;
Precinct Number Twenty-four, to be known as Adamsburg, the polling place for
which is Phillip Firehouse;
Precinct Number Twenty-five, to be known as Kelton, the polling place for which
is Kelton Firehouse;
Precinct Number Twenty-six, to be known as Lockhart, Box 1, the polling place
for which is Lockhart First Baptist Church Christian Activities Building;
Precinct Number Twenty-seven, to be known as Lockhart, Box 2, the polling place
for which is Free Will Baptist Church Annex;
Precinct Number Twenty-eight, to be known as Jonesville, Box 1, the polling
place for which is the Recreation Center;
Precinct Number Twenty-nine, to be known as Jonesville, Box 2, the polling
place for which is Jonesville Firehouse.
The precinct lines defining the above precincts are as shown on maps filed with
the clerk of court of the county and also on file with the State Election
Commission as provided and maintained by the Division of Research and Statistical
Services of the State Budget and Control Board."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor. |
