S 0230 General Bill, By I.E. Lourie, Land and D.S. Taylor
 A Bill to amend Section 42-11-170, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina,
 1976, relating to membership of the Medical Advisory Panel under the Workers'
 Compensation Law, Section 42-11-180, relating to compensation of Panel
 members, and Section 42-11-190, relating to the Industrial Commission's
 promulgation of rules, regulations, and schedules and the advice and
 recommendations of the Panel to the Commission, so as to delete any reference
 to the Medical Board, provide that the per diem allowances of Medical Panel
 members may not exceed two thousand five hundred dollars annually, and permit
 the Industrial Commission to seek the advice and recommendations of the Panel
 from time to time as the Commission may require; to amend Section 42-11-185,
 as amended, relating to a medical examination in lieu of the Medical Panel for
 occupationally related disease claims, so as to delete a reference to Section
 42-11-120 and the Medical Panel; and to repeal Sections 42-11-120, 42-11-130,
 42-11-140, 42-11-150, and 42-11-160, all relating to the Medical Board and
 occupational diseases.
