 AND COMMENDING BOTH OF THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE FOR THEIR MANY CONTRIBUTIONS TO
 THEIR COMMUNITY OVER THE YEARS.

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING MR. AND MRS. ALVIN JUDSON HURT OF PICKENS COUNTY ON THE HAPPY OCCASION OF THEIR FIFTIETH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY, AND COMMENDING BOTH OF THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE FOR THEIR MANY CONTRIBUTIONS TO THEIR COMMUNITY OVER THE YEARS.

Whereas, Vivian Dukes Hurt and Alvin Judson Hurt of Pickens County entered into the blessed state of matrimony fifty years ago; and

Whereas, as they prepare to celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary, these two wonderful people are still deeply in love with each other and feel truly blessed by God for the five decades He has given them as husband and wife; and

Whereas, over many years these two outstanding people have rendered countless hours of devoted and productive service to the Easley community and Pickens County; and

Whereas, they are the model of a happy married life, and their innumerable friends respect, admire, and love them deeply for their outstanding qualities and exemplary deeds. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Judson Hurt on the special occasion of their fiftieth wedding anniversary, and extend to them best wishes for many more years together.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Judson Hurt, Easley, South Carolina.
