AN ACT TO REQUIRE THAT CERTAIN INJURIES TO A STUDENT WHO PARTICIPATES IN AN ORGANIZED SPORT OF A PUBLIC SCHOOL BE MADE A PART OF THAT STUDENT'S SCHOOL'S RECORD.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Report required of certain injuries

Section 1. A report of any head or spinal injury or broken limb suffered by a student enrolled in the public schools of this State shall be filed by the coach with the principal of the school. The report shall be made a part of the student's school record.

Time Effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval of the Governor.
