A house RESOLUTION
to recognize and honor Stephen Michael
Whereas, the members of
the South Carolina House of Representatives are pleased to learn that Stephen Michael
Whereas, teachers who are nominated for Teacher of the Year are nominated by their peers. Their peers consider how the teacher they wish to nominate in Lexington School District Four embodies the district motto of "Lead, Learn, Serve, and Excel"; and
Whereas, a native of Columbia,
Mr. Whereas, he has been teaching for nine years since 2013, all of them at the Lexington School District Four Early Childhood Center; and
Whereas, he and his beloved
wife, Catherine Schafer Whereas, the members of
the South Carolina House of Representatives value the work of dedicated
educators in the Palmetto State, who devote themselves to our youth by helping
them to prepare to become productive citizens, and especially teachers like Stephen
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the
South Carolina House of Representatives,
by this resolution, recognize and honor Stephen Michael
Be it further resolved
