 Plant Services, of Graniteville Company for his outstanding service upon the
 occasion of his retirement, to wishNext for him many happy and fulfilling years,
 and to provide that he must be presented this Resolution and recognized for
 his service to Graniteville Company on the occasion of his retirement dinner
 on February 8, 1995.

A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND GEORGE S. PARDUE, ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, PLANT SERVICES, OF GRANITEVILLE COMPANY FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE UPON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT, TO PreviousWISHNext FOR HIM MANY HAPPY AND FULFILLING YEARS, AND TO PROVIDE THAT HE MUST BE PRESENTED THIS RESOLUTION AND RECOGNIZED FOR HIS SERVICE TO GRANITEVILLE COMPANY ON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT DINNER ON FEBRUARY 8, 1995.

Whereas, the members of the Senate note that George S. Pardue is retiring in February, 1995, from the position of Assistant Vice President, Plant Services, of Graniteville Company after fifty years of service; and

Whereas, George S. Pardue is a 1945 graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an Army veteran who served with distinction in Korea; and

Whereas, George S. Pardue began his employment with Graniteville Company in 1945, and through his hard work and dedication rose to become Assistant Vice President of Plant Services in 1980. During these years, he has supervised construction, modernization, and renovation of many Graniteville Company facilities and divisions; and

Whereas, in 1991, George S. Pardue helped to organize the first Fishing Rodeo held at the Graniteville Canal, a project also sponsored by the Department of Natural Resources and by the Harry Hampton Memorial Wildlife; and

Whereas, George S. Pardue has assisted schools and churches in the Graniteville and Warrenville areas throughout his employment with Graniteville Company. He has been of invaluable assistance in his work in community organizations and has served on the Board of Directors of Community Services, Inc. for over twenty years. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate commend George S. Pardue for his outstanding service to Graniteville Company and Previouswish for him many happy and fulfilling years in this next stage of his life.

Be it further resolved that George S. Pardue must be presented this resolution and recognized for his service to Graniteville Company upon the occasion of his retirement dinner on February 8, 1995.
