A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

RECOGNIZING THE GOOD BEGINNINGS AND OUTSTANDING FOUNDATION IN EDUCATION PROVIDED BY THE SECOND BAPTIST CHRISTIAN PREPARATORY SCHOOL OF AIKEN TO ITS YOUNG SCHOLARS AND EXTENDING THE FIVE-YEAR OLD KINDERGARTEN GRADUATING CLASS THE HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS AND BEST PreviousWISHESNext FOR THE FUTURE.

Whereas, the Second Baptist Christian Preparatory School of Aiken is known for its nurturing, firm but gentle, and loving guidance; and

Whereas, this school is an outstanding example of preparing children spiritually and academically to become contributing members of society; and

Whereas, Second Baptist Christian Preparatory School of Aiken is grounded in a creative structure that respects the individual, affirms diversity, and explores common goals for the development of a better world, while maintaining a high quality institution which will prepare these students for their Christian growth, economic development, and social responsibilities; and

Whereas, its splendid programs insist that students be prepared and disciplined in skills that allow them to be better prepared for a productive life; and

Whereas, the 5-K Graduating Class for School Year 1997-98 is an outstanding group of young scholars who, in their young lives exemplify the loving instruction of Second Baptist Christian Preparatory School as it supplements the work of their families in preparing them to be citizens of the world. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly by this resolution recognize the good beginnings and outstanding foundation in education provided by the Second Baptist Christian Preparatory School of Aiken to its young scholars and extend to the five-year old kindergarten graduating class the heartiest congratulations and best Previouswishes for the future.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Second Baptist Christian Preparatory School of Aiken.
