 A HOUSE RESOLUTION TO COMMEND LIEUTENANT EDDIE M. SMITH OF THE UNION COUNTY
 SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT FOR TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE
 OF UNION COUNTY AND SOUTH CAROLINA AS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, TO
 CONGRATULATE HIM ON A JOB WELL DONE ON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT, AND TO
 EXTEND BEST WISHES TO LIEUTENANT SMITH AND HIS FAMILY IN ALL OF THEIR FUTURE
 ENDEAVORS.

TO COMMEND LIEUTENANT EDDIE M. SMITH OF THE UNION COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT FOR TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE OF UNION COUNTY AND SOUTH CAROLINA AS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, TO CONGRATULATE HIM ON A JOB WELL DONE ON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT, AND TO EXTEND BEST WISHES TO LIEUTENANT SMITH AND HIS FAMILY IN ALL OF THEIR FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives are keenly aware of the extraordinary contribution that law enforcement officers such as Lieutenant Eddie M. Smith make to their communities in protecting the lives and property of their fellow citizens, sometimes at the risk of their own life, health, and safety; and

Whereas, Lieutenant Eddie M. Smith of Union County Sheriff's Department has devoted twenty-five years in loyal and dedicated service to society and his fellow citizens as a top flight law enforcement officer employed by the Union County Sheriff's Department; and.

Whereas, to honor the service and sacrifice made over many years in law enforcement, the members of the House of Representative would like to recognize and thank Lieutenant Eddie M. Smith for his many years of dedicated service with the Union County Sheriff's Department and, on the occasion of his retirement, to extend best wishes to him and his family in all of their future endeavors. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, commend Lieutenant Eddie M. Smith of the Union County Sheriff's Department for twenty-five years of dedicated service to the people of Union County and South Carolina as a law enforcement officer, congratulate him on a job well done on the occasion of his retirement, and extend best wishes to Lieutenant Smith and his family in all of their future endeavors.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Lieutenant Eddie M. Smith of Union.
