Now, therefore, Be it resolved by the Senate: That the members of the Senate honor the forty-seven men and women of the armed services of the United States from South Carolina or with South Carolina ties who have died in the war in Iraq and thank Lieutenant Governor André Bauer for his efforts in giving each the Palmetto Patriot Award.
