AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 609 OF 1980, RELATING TO ELECTION OF THE HORRY COUNTY COUNCIL, SO AS TO REAPPORTION ELECTION DISTRICTS FROM WHICH MEMBERS OF COUNCIL ARE ELECTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OFFICIAL 1980 UNITED STATES CENSUS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Subsection B of Section 1 of Act 609 of 1980 is amended to read:

"B. Beginning with the general election of 1982, one member of the Council shall be elected from each of the single member election districts as set forth below:
