YEAR AND TO EXTEND BEST WISHES TO HER AS SHE COMPETES AS A FINALIST FOR THE
1998 NATIONAL AUTISM SOCIETY OF AMERICA PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR.

TO CONGRATULATE MRS. JULIANNA NELSON LORICK OF
KERSHAW COUNTY ON BEING NAMED THE 1997 SOUTH
CAROLINA AUTISM SOCIETY THERAPIST OF THE YEAR
AND TO EXTEND BEST WISHES TO HER AS SHE COMPETES
AS A FINALIST FOR THE 1998 NATIONAL AUTISM SOCIETY
OF AMERICA PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR.
Whereas, Mrs. Julianna Nelson Lorick was born in Ruston,
Louisiana, the daughter of Violet and C. L. Nelson, Jr.; and
Whereas, she is married to Mr. Sidney F. Lorick and together they are
the proud parents of one son; and
Whereas, Mrs. Lorick received her bachelor of arts degree from
Ouachita Baptist University and a master's of education degree from
the University of South Carolina; and
Whereas, she is a member of the National Autism Society of
America, the South Carolina Autism Society, the Camden Junior
Welfare League, and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of
Camden, South Carolina; and
Whereas, in November, 1997, Mrs. Lorick was named the therapist
of the year by the South Carolina Autism Society and will compete
for the National Autism Society's professional of the year award as
a finalist during the National Autism Society's national convention to
be held in Reno, Nevada, in July, 1998; and
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of
Representatives, by this resolution, wish to publicly commend her on
her many achievements and extend best wishes to her as she
competes for the National Autism Society's Professional of the Year
award. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of
South Carolina hereby congratulate Mrs. Julianna Nelson Lorick of
Kershaw County on her many accomplishments and on being named
the 1997 South Carolina Autism Society therapist of the year and
extend to her best wishes as she competes as a finalist for the 1998
National Autism Society of America Professional of the Year award.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to
Mrs. Lorick.
