 A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 1-11-720, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA,
 1976, RELATING TO ENTITIES WHOSE EMPLOYEES, RETIREES, AND THEIR DEPENDENTS ARE
 ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE STATE HEALTH AND DENTAL INSURANCE PLANS, SO AS
 TO EXTEND THIS ELIGIBILITY TO CERTAIN OFFICE STAFF MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH
 CAROLINA ATHLETIC COACHES ASSOCIATION.

TO AMEND SECTION 1-11-720, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO ENTITIES WHOSE EMPLOYEES, RETIREES, AND THEIR DEPENDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE STATE HEALTH AND DENTAL INSURANCE PLANS, SO AS TO EXTEND THIS ELIGIBILITY TO CERTAIN OFFICE STAFF MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA ATHLETIC COACHES ASSOCIATION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 1-11-720(A) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 353 of 2008, is further amended by adding an appropriately numbered item at the end to read:

"( )    the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association; except that for purposes of this item, only the executive director, associate director, and no more than three administrative assistants of the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association are eligible to participate in the state health and dental insurance plans."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
