S 0999 General Bill, By N.A. Theodore, H.A. Chapman, Leventis and Moore
 A Bill to amend Chapter 9 of Title 38, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976,
 relating to the conduct of insurance business generally, by adding Article 5
 so as to create a lien against the proceeds of any insurance policy which are
 derived from the total damage or loss to certain buildings or structures as a
 result of a fire or explosion, to provide that such lien shall be in favor of
 any political subdivision of this State which levies taxes or assessments and
 shall be in the amount equal to the unpaid taxes or assessments, to provide
 the procedures for enforcing, collecting, and administering such liens.
