H 2071 General Bill, By F.X. Archibald
A Bill to provide that persons honoring a credit card shall give purchasers
who have such a credit card but who pay by cash, check or money order a
discount equal to the percentage the seller would pay to the credit card
company if the purchaser used his credit card for the purchase; to make it
unlawful for a credit card company to contract with a seller whereby the
seller is prohibited from offering discounts to customers paying by cash,
check or money order; and to provide penalties for violations.
