AN ACT TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO CLOSE AND REMOVE FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM A PORTION OF ROAD S15-189 IN COLLETON COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Portion of road to be closed

Section 1. The Department of Highways and Public Transportation shall close and remove from the state highway system that portion of Road S15-189 in Colleton County, as shown on a plat prepared by Asten Hill Manufacturing Company, dated January 9, 1980, and recorded in the clerk of court's office for Colleton County, beginning at a proposed security fence on the northern portion of road S15-189; thence easterly, southerly and westerly to a proposed security fence on the southern portion of such road but only after Asten Hill Manufacturing company constructs or has constructed at its expense a turnaround with a fifty foot radius, as shown on Drawing No. C-150 003 of Asten Hill Manufacturing Company, dated March 28, 1980.

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
