AN ACT TO FURTHER PROVIDE FOR THE SERVICE AREA OF THE WESTERN CAROLINA REGIONAL SEWER AUTHORITY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Service area defined

SECTION 1. The service area of the Western Carolina Regional Sewer Authority shall also include the following area:

Beginning at a point at the intersection of the South Tyger River and the (east) Greenville County boundary line, thence in a southeasterly direction along the Enoree River approximately 7.6 miles to the Laurens-Greenville County Line on said river, thence leaving the Greenville-Laurens County Line and continuing in a southerly direction along the Enoree River approximately 12 miles to Secondary Road 263, thence along Road 263 approximately 2.4 miles in a westerly direction to Highway No. 101, thence in a southeasterly direction along Highway 101 approximately 1.9 miles to Secondary Road 96, thence along Secondary Road 96 in a westerly direction 1.7 miles to Road 95, thence along Secondary Road 95 in a southwesterly direction 1.5 miles to Seaboard Coast Line right-of-way, thence in a northwesterly direction 1.4 miles along center line of railroad right-of-way to Road 259, thence in a westerly direction along Secondary Road 259 3.3 miles to Road 76, thence along Secondary Road 76 in a northwesterly direction 0.9 miles to intersection of Road 120, thence in a northerly direction along Secondary Road 120 approximately 1 mile to its intersection with the Greenville-Laurens County Line, thence along the Laurens-Greenville County Line in a southeasterly direction approximately 1 mile to a point in Road S23-451, thence along S23-451 in a northeasterly direction 2.7 miles to Road S23-55, thence along S23-55 in a southwesterly direction approximately 1,000 feet to the intersection of Woodside Road, thence in a westerly direction along Woodside Road approximately 1.3 miles to the intersection of SC Highway 418, thence southwesterly along SC Highway 418 approximately 4.6 miles to the intersection of Highways 418, 25 and 8 or junction known as Ware Place, thence in a westerly direction along SC Highway 8 approximately 11.9 miles to the Saluda River being the west boundary of Greenville County, thence in a northerly direction following the meanders of the Saluda River approximately 4.8 miles to its intersection with the district boundary of Piedmont Sewer and Light District boundary on the Saluda River, thence in Anderson County, N. 72-25 W. 590 feet to an iron pin; thence S. 17-35 W. 73 feet to an iron pin; thence N. 72-25 W. 120 feet; thence N. 17-35 E. 73 feet to a point on the south side of Iler Street; thence N. 70-10 W. 2,000 feet, more or less, to a point in a street; thence S. 80-04 W. 280 feet to a point in a fenceNext line; thence with the line of said Previousfence N. 6-30 W. 845 feet to a point, thence due west 255 feet to a point; thence due north 290 feet to a point on the south side of Anderson Street; thence with the south side of Anderson Street due east 100 feet to a point, thence, crossing Anderson Street, due north 410 feet, more or less, to a point, thence N. 80 E. 210 feet to a railroad rail on the western side of a street; thence along a line which would constitute a projection of the western side of said street N. 10-03 W. 520 feet to a point in the center of a branch; thence down the meanders of said branch in an easterly direction to a point on the Anderson County bank of the Saluda River; thence in a northerly direction along the Saluda River approximately 18 miles to an unnamed creek, said creek being approximately 8,000 feet north of Farrs' Bridge Road (SC Highway 183), thence in a northeasterly direction along said creek to its intersection with Hunts' Bridge Road (Rt. 132), thence in a northwesterly direction along Hunts' Bridge Road to its intersection with County Route 424 (Rutledge Lake Road, Blackberry Valley Road), thence in a northeasterly direction along County Route 424 to its intersection with White Horse Road (Rt. 199), thence in a northerly direction along White Horse Road approximately 3-1/2 miles to its intersection with a line one mile west of US Highway 276, thence in a northwesterly direction along a line one mile west-southwest of US Highway 276 and the west boundary line of the Marietta Water District approximately 4 miles to a point at its intersection with Pumpkintown Road (SC Highway 288), thence in a westerly direction along Pumpkintown Road to its intersection with Beattie Bottom Road (Rt. 175), thence in a northerly direction along Beattie Bottom Road to its intersection with US Highway 276, thence in a southeasterly direction along US Highway 276 to its intersection with Wildwood Road, thence in an easterly direction along Wildwood Road to its intersection with Hart Cut Road (Rt. 119), thence in a southerly direction along Hart Cut Road to its intersection with Parnell Bridge Road (Rt. 535), thence in an easterly direction along Parnell Bridge Road to a point on the North Saluda River, thence in a southerly direction along the North Saluda River to Talley Bridge Road (Rt. 178), thence in a southeasterly direction along Talley Bridge Road to Bates Crossing Road (SC Highway 414), thence in a southwesterly direction along Bates Crossing Road to Coleman Road, thence in a southeasterly direction along Coleman Road to Cunningham Road (Talley Bridge Road), thence in a southwesterly direction along Cunningham Road to an unnamed road, thence in a southeasterly direction along said unnamed road to its intersection with White Horse Road extension (Rt. 59) and Jamison Road, thence in a southerly direction along Jamison Road approximately 2,000 feet to an unnamed road; thence in an easterly direction along said unnamed road to Tubbs Mountain Road, thence in a southeasterly direction along Tubbs Mountain Road to a point one mile from the Travelers Rest town limits line, thence southeasterly along a line one mile from and parallel to the Travelers Rest town limits line approximately 3-1/3 miles to State Park Road (Rt. 22), thence in a southeasterly direction along State Park Road to the south branch of Beaverdam Creek, thence in a northeasterly direction along said branch to Beaverdam Creek, thence easterly along Beaverdam Creek to the Enoree River, thence in a northerly direction along the Enoree River and an unnamed branch to Jackson Grove Road, thence in a southeasterly direction along Jackson Grove Road to Locust Hill Road (SC Highway 290), thence along SC Highway 290 in a southeasterly direction approximately 4 miles to a five-point intersection of roads, thence in a southeasterly direction along Buncombe Road approximately 2,000 feet to the intersection of Brannon Avenue, thence along Brannon Avenue in a southwesterly direction approximately 3,000 feet to US Highway 29 (Wade Hampton Boulevard), thence crossing US Highway 29 in a southerly direction approximately 800 feet to a point in the boundary of King Acres on Chick Springs Road, thence along Chick Springs Road approximately 1,320 feet with boundary of King Acres, thence leaving Chick Springs Road and following King Acres boundary line to the Piedmont and Northern Railroad, thence in a northeasterly direction along the railroad to a point that is 1,000 feet west of Buncombe Road (SC Highway 136), thence parallel to Buncombe Road in a southeasterly direction approximately 4,000 feet to the Southern Railroad, thence along the Southern Railroad in a northeasterly direction 1,000 feet to Buncombe Road (SC Highway 136), thence along Buncombe Road (SC Highway 136) to the Greenville-Spartanburg County Line, thence in a southerly direction along the Greenville-Spartanburg County Line approximately 3 miles to the Enoree River, the point of beginning.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
