A JOINT RESOLUTION TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE EXPENSES OF STATE GOVERNMENT SUPPLEMENTAL TO THOSE CONTAINED IN ACT 658 OF 1988, THE GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1988-89, AND TO IDENTIFY THE SOURCE OF FUNDS FOR THE SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Supplemental appropriations

SECTION 1. Appropriations in this joint resolution are considered to be from unobligated fiscal year 1987-88 surplus revenues credited to the general fund of the State.

Funds appropriated

SECTION 2. In addition to other funds appropriated or made available to the South Carolina Department of Youth Services for fence construction at the department's institutions, there is appropriated six hundred fifty thousand dollars from the general fund of the State to the department for the same purpose.

Time effective

SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
