 A HOUSE RESOLUTION TO COMMEND PATRICIA ANN SPAKE FOR THE OUTSTANDING JOB SHE
 DOES PROMOTING CONSERVATION EFFORTS IN THIS STATE AND TO CONGRATULATE HER ON
 BEING NAMED THE 2001 SOUTH CAROLINA CONSERVATION DISTRICT EMPLOYEE OF THE
 YEAR.

TO COMMEND PATRICIA ANN SPAKE FOR THE OUTSTANDING JOB SHE DOES PROMOTING CONSERVATION EFFORTS IN THIS STATE AND TO CONGRATULATE HER ON BEING NAMED THE 2001 SOUTH CAROLINA CONSERVATION DISTRICT EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR.

Whereas, Mrs. Patricia Ann Spake was awarded the 2001 South Carolina Conservation District Employee of the Year award for her outstanding service to district members and employees; and

Whereas, during Mrs. Spake's four years with the Conservation District, she has distinguished herself as a model employee who goes above and beyond the call of duty to promote the district's work within Anderson County and the entire State; and

Whereas, the numerous and varied duties that Patricia Spake performs for the Conservation District include publishing the district's monthly newsletter, serving on the Harry Findley Memorial Fund Raiser Committee to help furnish a conference room at the new Anderson County Museum, and serving on the South Carolina Association of Conservation Districts' Legislative Committee; and

Whereas, Mrs. Patricia Spake commits her valuable time and talents not only to the citizens of Anderson County, but also to employees of other conservation districts throughout the Palmetto State; and

Whereas, Patricia Spake has tremendous responsibilities as the Secretary for the South Carolina District Employees Association and does a magnificent job as Treasurer of the South East District Employees Association; and

Whereas, Mrs. Spake is involved in a number of community service organizations that benefit South Carolinians of all ages and of all walks of life; she is currently the Secretary for the Anderson Farm City Committee and an event sponsor with the Arca 14 Special Olympics; and

Whereas, the work that Patricia Ann Spake does for her conservation district and the people of South Carolina is invaluable and very much appreciated, and it is appropriate that the members of the House of Representatives recognize her efforts and graciously thank her for all that she does to make the Palmetto State a better place to live. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, commend Patricia Ann Spake for the outstanding job she does promoting conservation efforts in this State and congratulate her on being named the 2001 South Carolina Conservation District Employee of the Year.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Patricia Ann Spake of Anderson County, South Carolina.
