A Concurrent Resolution to memorialize the President of the United States and
United States Congress to exclude the State of South Carolina from
consideration as the site for the establishment of an interim storage facility
for commercial spent nuclear fuel and other high-level radioactive waste
produced outside the state until official consultation has taken place between
the Federal Government and the State, such consultation to be conducted by an
appropriate committee designated by the members of the General Assembly and
the Governor and that the establishment of such an interim storage facility
must obtain prior approval by Joint Resolution of the majority of the
membership of the General Assembly and also approved by the Governor.-at
