AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 57-11-30, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND, SO AS TO REDESIGNATE THE FUND AS THE HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION FUND AND TO DELETE THE RESTRICTION ON THE AMOUNT OF THE FUND.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

State Highway Fund redesignated

Section 1. Section 57-11-30 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"Section 57-11-30. The Department may set aside and deposit in its name a revolving fund, and all payments from such fund shall be restored to the fund by vouchers drawn on the Comptroller General against the highways and Public Transportation Fund."

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
