A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO HONOR THE REVEREND RANDY PreviousJACKSONNext FOR THE COMPLETION OF HIS FIRST YEAR AS PASTOR OF MOUNT CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH IN ABBEVILLE COUNTY.

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to learn that the Reverend Randy PreviousJacksonNext will celebrate the completion of his first year as pastor of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Abbeville; and

Whereas, in July of 2007, Greenville native the Reverend PreviousJacksonNext took up his duties as a pastor, and the members of Mount Calvary Baptist Church have grown spiritually under the care of this compassionate Christian; and

Whereas, he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina, and he and his beloved wife Janice have three fine children, Jay, Jasmine, and Kiyana; and

Whereas, a successful businessman, he is also the president of First Merchant Financial Services, a global credit card processing company; and

Whereas, he further serves his community in numerous ways, including on the boards of the Salvation Army, the Upstate Urban League, and the Workforce Investment Board; and

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate commend the Reverend Randy PreviousJacksonNext for his ministry to the citizens of his community and to the members of Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, honor the Reverend Randy PreviousJacksonNext for the completion of his first year as pastor of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Abbeville County.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to the Reverend Randy PreviousJackson.
