AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 50-1-110, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA,
1976, RELATING TO DISPOSITION OF GAME OR FISH UNLAWFULLY TAKEN, SO AS
TO PROVIDE THAT WILDLIFE COMING INTO THE POSSESSION OF THE WILDLIFE
AND MARINE RESOURCES DEPARTMENT MAY BE DISPOSED OF IN THE DISCRETION
OF THE DEPARTMENT.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Wildlife unlawfully taken, disposition of
SECTION 1. Section 50-1-110 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"Section 50-1-110. Wildlife unlawfully taken, shipped , or
received for shipment, or found in the possession or under control of
a person, which comes into the possession of the department and
wildlife legally taken which comes into possession of the department
may be disposed of in the discretion of the department. No wildlife
coming into the possession of the department may be transferred to or
used by a department employee or member of his family for personal
use."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
