 ANNIVERSARY AND TO EXTEND TO THEM AND THEIR FAMILY EVERY GOOD WISH FOR
 SUCCESS, HEALTH, AND CONTINUED HAPPINESS IN THE YEARS TO COME.

TO OFFER THE WARMEST CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. AND MRS. DAL H. FELKEL OF FLORENCE COUNTY ON THE OCCASION OF THEIR SIXTIETH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AND TO EXTEND TO THEM AND THEIR FAMILY EVERY GOOD WISH FOR SUCCESS, HEALTH, AND CONTINUED HAPPINESS IN THE YEARS TO COME.

Whereas, Dal and Clarine Felkel of Florence County were united in holy matrimony on April 21, 1946, in Elloree, South Carolina; and

Whereas, over the course of their happy marriage, they have raised two loving children: Chip Felkel and Nancy Gatewood; and

Whereas, the Felkels also are proud to boast three grandchildren: Marci Gatewood, Ethan Felkel, and Addison Felkel; and

Whereas, Mr. Felkel is a role model for all South Carolinians as he continues to work as an accountant at the age of 82. His strong work ethic is matched only by his love of family; and

Whereas, her dear husband's biggest supporter, Mrs. Felkel, lovingly supported the family by working at home and raising their two children while also working at the accounting office; and

Whereas, active and faithful members of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Florence, they both are widely respected pillars of not just the Florence community but the greater Pee Dee area and are well-known throughout the Pee Dee having grown up in Elloree and lived for a time in Kingstree before returning to Florence; and

Whereas, together they continue to enjoy a rich social and family life. The couple takes great pleasure in spending time with family and church friends and sharing stories and memories with family and friends alike; and

Whereas, on April 21, 2006, Dal and Clarine Felkel celebrated the momentous occasion of their sixtieth wedding anniversary. This impressive milestone in their lives marks sixty years of love, devotion, and mutual support that has made them the strong supportive couple they are to family, friends, and neighbors; and

Whereas, on June 25, 2006, at Ebenezer Baptist Church they will join with all those who hold them dear to celebrate their anniversary and their lifelong commitment to each other which is certainly awe inspiring indeed. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, offer the warmest congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Dal H. Felkel of Florence County on the occasion of their sixtieth wedding anniversary and extend to them and their family every good wish for success, health, and continued happiness in the years to come.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. and Mrs. Dal H. Felkel of Florence County.
