The House assembled at 12:00 noon.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr., as follows:

Our thought for today is from Proverbs 1:33: "But those who listen to me will be secure and will live at ease, without dread of disaster."

Let us pray. Almighty God, creator of all that exists, hear the prayers of Your people as we pray for these Representatives and staff as they work to fulfill the duties of their office. Give them wisdom, courage, integrity, and the strength to carry out their duties. Grant Your blessings on those who govern us in Nation and State. Bestow Your blessings and protection on our defenders of freedom. Heal the wounds, those seen and those hidden, of our brave warriors who suffer and sacrifice for our freedom. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayers. Amen.

Pursuant to Rule 6.3, the House of Representatives was led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America by the SPEAKER PRO TEMPORE.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of Friday, the SPEAKER PRO TEMPORE ordered it confirmed.

MOTION ADOPTED
