A bill to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 16-16-50 so as to provide for certain civil relief and damages in cases involving computer crime; Section 16-16-60 so as to provide for rules of evidence and statutes of limitation in cases involving computer crime; Section 16-16-70 so as to provide additional civil liability and criminal penalties for persons committing certain computer crimes; and Section 16-16-80 so as to provide a duty to report computer crime violations and to provide immunity from civil liability for this reporting when done in good faith.
