    A Bill to amend Section 56-5-2715, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to stop signs and required stops at dangerous railroad crossings, so as to provide that the Department of Highways and Public Transportation with respect to State highways and counties and municipalities with respect to highways within their jurisdiction shall place white lines across the lanes approaching these dangerous crossings and to provide that at those highway and railroad grade crossings located within one-half mile of a church or school, the railroad company operating the railroad shall place and maintain an illuminated flashing red signal on the highway on each side of the crossing.
