S 0287 General Bill, By M.F. Mullinax
    A Bill to amend Chapter 9 of Title 4, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Section 4-9-31, so a to provide for the creation of special tax districts within the entire unincorporated area of a county, provide that no referendum is required or petition submitted prior to either the creation of the district or the imposition of ad valorem taxes within it, including, but not limited to, taxes levied to retire general obligation bonds issued to provide the services, and to provide for imposition of ad valorem taxes, including, but not limited to, taxes levied to retire general obligation bonds issued to provide services in the districts created prior to the effective date of this Section.
