A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 38-71-267 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A PAYOR OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES MAY NOT INTERFERE WITH THE DECISIONS OF A LICENSED HEALTH CARE PROVIDER UNLESS THE DECISION IS INCONSISTENT WITH SOUND MEDICAL PRACTICE AND TO PROVIDE THAT ALL REMEDIES FOR REDRESSING GRIEVANCES AGAINST PHYSICIANS AND OTHER HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS ARE AVAILABLE AGAINST HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATIONS.
